IRC has all kinds of silicone rubber (solid, sponge and fire retardant) extrusion available in many colors in different hardness. Silicone rubber is found in a wide variety of products, e.g. automotive applications, home appliances, industrial applications, food storage products; apparel such as undergarments, sportswear, and footwear, electronics, medical devices and implants.
Silicone rubber offers good resistance to extreme temperatures, At the extreme temperatures, the tensile strength, elongation, tear strength and compression set can be far superior to conventional rubbers although still low relative to other materials. Silicone rubber is excellent in resistance to ozone, UV, heat and other ageing factors.
IRC has latest machineries extruding highly consistent silicone rubber profiles for all the structural system manufactures. IRC not only carrying out in house testing for material and physical properties rather takes the pride to validate through 3rd party validation. Being certified as ISO 9001-2008 version, it is ensured zero customer complaints on profiles as well as on workability compliance.
Once mixed and colored, silicone rubber can be extruded into tubes, strips, solid cord or custom profiles according the size restrictions and tested according to international standards e.g. ASTM, BS, and DIN etc. Cord can be joined to make O-rings and extruded profiles can be joined to make seals. Silicone rubber can be molded into custom shapes and designs.
